Falenty Nowe, where House at Willowa Street are constructed, is situated in the Raszyn commune - one of the wealthiest communes in the country. Troops under Tadeusz Kościuszko fought here in July 1794, and on April 19, 1809 a bloody battle took place on Raszyn's dykes, which ended with signing a convention, as a result of which Austrian troops occupied Warsaw. To commemorate these sad events, a historical picnic is organised on the dykes every year, during which the battle is re-enacted with the participation of reconstructors in period uniforms and assisted by a battery of cannons.
