On May 29, during European Neighbours’ Day, the Miasto Ogród 6 residential estate in Ożarów Mazowiecki transformed for a few hours into a place filled with conversations, laughter, fun, and neighbourly gatherings. Neighbours’ Day 2026 was a special event for us, where together with residents we celebrated the distinction awarded in the Happy Neighbourhoods competition, organized by Otodom in cooperation with PZFD and Milka.
Our Miasto Ogród 6 estate was recognized for its spaces that encourage building neighbourly relationships. And the best way to celebrate this success was to meet with residents and spend time together.
Modern Residential Estate with Shared Spaces
When designing our residential estates, we devote a great deal of attention to greenery, shared spaces, and places that encourage everyday neighbourly interactions. However, even the best-designed space needs people to bring it to life.
The Neighbours’ Day event at the Miasto Ogród 6 residential estate was an opportunity to go beyond the everyday “hello” in the parking lot or stairwell and get to know one another a little better. We are delighted that residents were so eager to participate in the planned activities, conversations, and shared entertainment.
We won’t hide it – the beginning of the day brought us a bit of excitement. Strong winds made the preparations much more challenging than we had anticipated. Tents, flags, decorations, and activity zones required additional securing, and some elements changed their position more often than we would have liked!

Fortunately, as the first guests arrived, the weather began to cooperate. Once the children’s attractions, competitions, and coffee-time conversations got underway, the morning challenges quickly faded into the background.
During the event, we prepared many attractions for our youngest residents. There were giant bubbles, balloon animals, team games, colorful temporary tattoos, and a variety of physical activities.

Adults could relax in the lounge area, chat with neighbours, take part in prize competitions, and share their thoughts about life at the estate in Ożarów Mazowiecki. The conversations and feedback from residents were especially valuable to us, helping us design future developments even better.
Those few hours passed much faster than we had expected. We returned from the event tired, but proud and very satisfied.
What made us happiest was seeing that the idea behind the Happy Neighbourhoods competition truly works in practice. A great residential estate is, above all, about the people who create their local community every day.
We would like to thank all residents, guests, and event partners for their support, presence, and for spending the afternoon with us.

Neighbours’ Day was also an opportunity to explore our developments from the inside. Visitors could view the last available apartment with a private garden at the completed Miasto Ogród 6 estate and take a look at the nearly completed single-family housing development Miasto Ogród 5. Many guests took this opportunity to check available properties and speak with our team.
