Our architects make sure that the interiors of the buildings they design are functional and spacious. That is why in the architectural plans, the figures describing the height of the walls exceed the standard norms.
According to the regulations, the minimum height of living rooms should be at least 250 cm, and in usable lofts 220 cm. Determining the height of rooms above this limit depends, among others, on their area, purpose, as well as individual preferences. However, the height of rooms which guarantees the comfort of dwellers is about 270 cm.
In our investments, the minimum limit is 260 cm, but in the vast majority of properties, the height of walls starts at 277 cm! From this level we only go higher!
Let’s take a look at some examples:
Investment | Ground floor cm | First floor cm | Attic max max cm |
Domy przy Willowej | 277 | 277 | 140 |
Jeziorowa Park | 278 | 260 | 220 |
Osiedle Kolorowe 3 | 294 | 290 | 308 |
Ogrody Przyjaciół 4 | 277 | 264 | 200 |
Wilgi Park | 277 | 291 | 148 |
Attics are spaces which can be arranged in many different ways by residents. To a certain extent, this is also determined by the surface area of this additional space. In Novisa Development, we do not calculate the floor area as most developers do. We calculate it according to its actual usability depending on the height of the ceiling.
Let us illustrate this with an example: a 21 m2 loft space comprises 100% of the space up to 220 cm in height and then 50% of the space no lower than 140 cm. This way of counting guarantees the occupants optimal use of the attic and its practical arrangement. In our investments, attics reach a height of over 300 cm! These additional spaces are arranged as bedrooms, playrooms for children, offices, home cinema rooms, gyms or dressing rooms.
The height of rooms has a huge impact on our comfort – in too low interiors we feel claustrophobic. What’s more, even large spaces with low ceilings do not contribute to the feeling of spaciousness. Therefore, when choosing your future home, it is worth paying attention to the height of the ceilings – let them be high, high above us!
