In the 17th century, the area around Jazgarzewszczyzna became the property of members of the Order of Missionaries who had arrived from France. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the settlement of Jazgarzewszczyzna was small, and by the end of the 19th century, it was almost uninhabited. Over time, it began to develop, and in the 1895 census, Jazgarzewszczyzna recorded three residential buildings, with 34 people living there.
In the 20th century, Jazgarzewszczyzna began to gain importance. During the General Census of 1921, 7 houses and 58 residents were recorded there.
Today, the village, which belongs to the relatively young Lesznowola commune, is home to over 800 people.
Jazgarzewszczyzna is situated in a forested area, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. In addition to numerous forest hiking and cycling trails, the nearby Jeziorka River offers further outdoor opportunities, and in the neighboring village of Żabieniec, there's a popular complex of ponds.
Kayak trips of around 14 km are organized along the Jeziorka River. These trips start near Górki Szymona Park, passing through various bridges (including the old narrow-gauge railway bridge in Chylice), and end at the historic Stara Papiernia in Konstancin-Jeziorna, where there is a kayak marina.
The Żabieniec reservoir is a perfect place for a full day of relaxation with family. The area features numerous ponds originally created as retention basins for nearby villages. The park offers fire pit areas, shelters for meals, piers, a swimming area, and spots for fishing. This is also where the Jeziorka River kayak trips begin. You can also visit the historic weir on the Jeziorka River and walk across the top of the dam to the other side of the river. The weir's construction is impressive, attracting many walkers and cyclists.
