    …date back to 1342 and the times of Casimir the Great. Slightly later, in the 15th century, mentions appear of the princely village of Pożarowy located in these areas. However, Ożarów itself received town rights only in 1967, when ‘Mazowiecki’ was added to its name – it is therefore a relatively young but dynamically developing city, proud of its consistent approach to sustainable development.
